The weekly rhythm

How it works

  1. Order by Wednesday night

Pick your loaves and cookies above. I bake to order, so nothing sits around and nothing goes to waste.

  2. Anna bakes Friday morning

Dough is mixed Wednesday, cold-fermented for 48 hours, and baked at dawn. Your kitchen will smell it before you see it.

  3. It reaches you the same day

Delivery to your door for $5, or free pickup — we’ll text you the spot and time window when we confirm your order.

Small batch. Big heart.

Hi, I’m Anna.

I started baking sourdough for my own family, in my own kitchen here in Trumbull. Friends asked for a loaf, then their friends did, and at some point the oven was full every Friday — so I made it official and got licensed.

I still bake the same way: a starter I’ve kept alive for years, a slow 48-hour ferment, and small numbers, because that’s the only way I can put my hands on every loaf. Nothing here is made to sit on a shelf. It’s made the week you order it, for a table somewhere in my own town.

    Good to know

    Questions neighbors ask

    What makes this sourdough?

No commercial yeast — the bread rises on a live starter over a slow, cold 48-hour ferment. That’s where the flavor, the open crumb and the crackly crust come from.

When do orders open and close?

Orders for each bake close Wednesday at 9pm. The bake happens Friday morning and reaches you the same day.

    How does pickup work?

Pickup is free. When we confirm your order we’ll text you the pickup spot and a time window on bake day. (Delivery to your door is $5 if that’s easier.)

What if I’m not home for delivery?

We’ll leave your order at the door and text you a photo so you know exactly where it’s waiting.

How should I store the bread?

Best in the first 2–3 days — keep it cut-side down on the counter or in a paper bag. Please don’t refrigerate it; the fridge dries bread out fast.

    Can I freeze it?

It freezes beautifully. Slice first, freeze flat, then toast straight from frozen — it comes back like bake day.

Do you deliver to my town?

    Allergens and the kitchen

Every product lists its allergens in the menu above. Everything is made in one home kitchen that handles wheat, eggs, milk, soy, tree nuts and sesame — so we can’t guarantee anything is free of them.

    Do you have gluten-free bread?

No — and honestly we can’t do it responsibly. The kitchen works with wheat flour every day, so nothing baked here can be truly gluten-free.

    Special shapes for holidays?

Yes! Our Easter bunny loaves sold out fast. Seasonal bakes appear in the menu under “Seasonal & Limited” and on Instagram first.
